A man from Fairfield returned from Nepal Thursday.
Brad Kerner works for Save the Children, and he was in Nepal when Saturday's deadly earthquake struck. It was his 10th trip there.
Kerner, who has hiking when he felt the ground shake, didn't realize how serious the earthquake was at first.
When he arrived at Kathmandu, buildings had collapsed and people were sleeping outside under tarps.
Save the Children is raising money to help the people there. Kerner expects to go back to Nepal within the next year.
Meanwhile, an aid worker from Fairfield returned home Thursday from Nepal.
