Officials say a 24-year-old man who was struck and killed by a car Sunday in Milford was the victim of a drunken driver.
Police say Vincent Pezzella, of Trumbull, was hit as he crossed Bridgeport Avenue with a friend near the Bridgeport Flyer Diner around 2 a.m.
Officials have charged the driver, 46-year-old Hector Frias-Angomas, of New Haven, with DUI.
Pezzella's friend was not hurt in the incident.
Milford police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to call them.
