One man is dead after a gas explosion leveled a house in New Milford.
Police say the victim was trying to help a friend repair a propane leak when it happened.
The blast leveled the home, leaving only a chimney standing.
Police say the homeowner and the victim's son were hurt in the explosion and taken to the hospital.
