A Bridgeport man was shot six times at a deli Tuesday – and survived, police say.
Eugene Brown, 34, was shot inside the Snack Shop deli at 604 Newfield Ave. around 5 a.m.
A witness told police they saw a tall man wearing a ski mask walk into the store and start shooting before running away.
Police say responding officers found Brown lying in the main doorway of the store with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was transported to Bridgeport Hospital where police say he was treated for his wounds.
They say he was shot six times in the legs and also suffered a broken femur.
Police say Brown is not cooperating with police and has refused to speak about the incident.
