A convicted drug dealer who shot a Stamford police officer in the face was sentenced today.
Ephraim Goitom received 25 years in prison.
He pleaded guilty to possession of drugs with intent to distribute and use of a firearm.
Goitom shot Sgt. Richard Gasparino in the cheek in 2010 as Gasparino and other narcotics officers prepared to search his apartment.
Plea deal reached in 2010 Stamford police shooting
