Torrington police are actively searching for a man who discharged a firearm at the scene of a physical altercation involving four women.
The incident took place around 8 p.m. Thursday night on Tunxis Lane near Torringford Street.
According to officers, the man fled the scene before their arrival.
The four women, aged between 16 and 20, are facing charges of breach of peace, with three of them also being charged with assault.
