Fairfield is celebrating after the Martire family announced a $3 million donation to Notre Dame Prep at Sacred Heart University Tuesday. It's the largest donation in the Catholic high school's history.
Alumni Frank Martire said, "I want to thank each and every one of you for being a student here. You make a difference. The school, we're doing some work on the buildings but it's not the buildings, it's the students who are here who make the high school and the university at Sacred Heart what they are."
