News 12 Connecticut has obtained the settlement agreement between the Monroe Board of Education and Masuk football coach Steve Christy after the board investigated the "culture" of the football program.
The agreement says Christy must submit a letter of retirement, which he has. He will be allowed to coach for this upcoming season only.
Some of his conditions in the agreement include concussion training and refraining from using foul language at games and practices.
Christy agreed not to take legal action against the school board.
