Mayor Joe Ganim says over $1 million has been set aside for safety improvements along Trumbull Avenue in the North End.
These improvements include street paving, new curb handicapped ramps and crosswalks.
"It's an infrastructure improvement that will address safety but also improve quality of life along Trumbull Gardens on Trumbull Avenue. I'm excited about it,” says Ganim.
Ganim says the money is allocated through capital budget funding in partnership with the housing authority.
