A memorial service was held Tuesday evening for the woman killed in a Stratford car accident.
Investigators say Laura Price died after her car hit a tree on Main Street by Wilcoxson Avenue early Monday morning.
They say Price worked as a public safety dispatcher.
People who knew her spoke of how well loved Price was and how dedicated she was to her duties as a public safety dispatcher.
Her friends say Price had a long time passion for public service, working with the Shelton Volunteer Fire Company Number Four Pine Rock Park before working as a dispatcher in Stratford for eight years.
They also say yesterday was her eighth wedding anniversary, and she leaves behind a 9-year-old son.
