Hundreds walked a mile in Fairfield in hopes of ending domestic violence.
The Center for Family Justice held its 7th annual Walk-A-Mile-In-Her-Shoes Celebration.
Participants marched from Fairfield Train Station to Town Hall.
The event raises money for the Bridgeport-based nonprofit, which helps victims of domestic and sexual violence.
During the event, men put on high heels as a sign of solidarity.
"I think it's a great day," says Roland Whitley of Bridgeport. "All the people out here supporting the women who can't fight for themselves."
The Center for Family Justice serves six communities in western Connecticut.
