407ds agoThe Milford community came together Wednesday to help a woman celebrate a very special birthday.
Marie Librandi is 100 years old. Her family threw her a party at Milford Health and Rehab.
Librandi was born in New York City and has lived in Connecticut, New York and Florida. She has three children, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Her hobbies include reading, sewing, knitting and dancing.
Librandi's son says it's a blessing to be able to celebrate together.
News 12 is told Librandi graduated with a bachelor's degree from UConn in political science when she was 71 years old.
She was also involved with Milford's AARP Chapter and the League of Woman Voters.
