649ds agoA dog from Milford is in the running for "top dog honors" in the American Humane Hero Dog Award-for the Shelter Dog Category.
Jeffrey, known to his followers as "Jeffrey, the Positively Peaceful Pit Bull,” is the companion of Milford resident Michele Houston.
His owner says Jeffrey was rescued hours before he was scheduled to be euthanized back in 2010.
