Business owners in downtown Milford are preparing for a buy-local campaign that's meant to keep business in the local economy.
The program, which starts Monday, aims to shift 10 percent of purchases normally made at non-independent stores to local businesses.
Milford Mayor James Richetelli is scheduled to announce the campaign on Monday morning from the steps of City Hall at 9 a.m.
