A Bronx mother claims her 3-year-old son, who suffers from cerebral palsy, was abandoned on a school bus Monday.
Charlene Elliot says the bus that was scheduled to drop off her son, Kwame, at around 2 p.m. never arrived. Elliot says when she called the school to find out what was going on, she didn't get an answer.
Four hours later, police drove Elliot to the bus depot to be reunited with her child. Officials at the school say the bus was late to pick up the 3-year-old. The bus company, however, denies these allegations.
