News 12 Connecticut is being credited with helping several abandoned dogs find new homes.
The SPCA in Monroe says that it has received more than 300 phone calls since a story about a court order forcing the group to reduce the number of dogs at the shelter to 29.
Anyone who would like to help the effort by adopting one of the dogs is asked to call (203) 445-9978.
