A moose was spotted hanging out by the side of the road in Winchester by the local police department Thursday morning.

The department snapped a photo and shared it to its Facebook page writing, "Just remember, wild animals are still wild and we advise that you do not approach them."

Winchester police also reminded residents if they do spot a moose, or any wildlife, and want to snap a photo, to safely pull their vehicle to the side of the road and stop before doing so.
