Hundreds of people were vaccinated at Triumphant Christian Church in Bridgeport Saturday.

The event was sponsored by the church on Park Avenue and the Community Health Centers, Incorporated.

Lamond Daniels says they want to open the church’s doors and be part of the solution.

He says lead pastor, Pastor West, wanted to make it happen.

“So we are here as a resource to the community for those that are interested and have made a decision to be vaccinated, we’re here making it accessible in the city of Bridgeport at our church,” Daniels say.

A total of 350 people were vaccinated over a five-hour period.
