OVERNIGHT: Cool and calmer. Mostly clear skies.
MONDAY: Partly sunny. A clearer start with clouds building into the afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the 60s. Monday night brings rain chances — mainly lighter showers for northern NJ. These could start as early as 8 p.m. There is a general chance of thunderstorms for the overnight but will likely be concentrated to Monmouth and Ocean and south. Timing is trending between 11-3 a.m. for the nastiest parts with lingering showers afterward.
TUESDAY: Some sun and clouds. Lingering showers on and off following the overnight system that moved through. It will be gusty in the 30-40 mph range. Temperatures will be in the 60s.
WEDNESDAY: Dry and much cooler. We are back to temperatures in the 50s. Gusty again, making those temps feel much cooler.
REST OF THE WEEK: Thursday will be dry and cool. Temperatures warm up by the end of the work and school week and into the weekend. Rain chances return by the end of the week.
