WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: The road to warmer temperatures has begun. Connecticut will continue to see temperatures in the 40s through Monday. Tuesday gives brings the potential of reaching 50 degrees. The work week overall sees pleasant temperatures, mid- to upper-40s and low-50s. Then chillier temperatures return by the weekend.
The end of the weekend will finish with more clouds. However, Connecticut remains dry. The rest of Saturday evening and the overnight is dry too. The next precipitation chance is more widespread for Thursday. It looks to be mainly in the form of rain. Other than those two rain opportunities, there will be a less active weather pattern for the week. The rest of weekend remains dry and warm. There will be a decent amount of sunshine this week. As of Saturday evening, there is less than a week until the start of Meteorological Spring on March 1. The following weekend will see the clocks spring forward. There will be around four weeks away from the start of Astronomical Spring, the Spring Equinox on March 20. Longer days and warmer temperatures are on the way.
