The unofficial start of summer is in the books.
This week’s weather, much like the last few weeks, begins with sunshine before clouds build and a series of systems move through the region.
The wettest days to watch are Wednesday and Friday. Thursday will be mostly cloudy, with the chance of lingering showers.
Friday brings not only more consistent rain but potentially heavier downpours.
The weekend starts off cloudy. Fingers crossed that the sun burns through the cloud cover for some pleasant weather late in the weekend.
Summer officially begins in 25 days, on June 20 at 10:42 p.m.
