Thanks to a Good Samaritan, a mother and her baby are doing fine Friday after their car careened into an embankment on Frenchtown Road.
Anna Maia was able to get out of the car on her own, but began to scream and cry when she couldn't pull her baby to safety. Warren Godbolt, who lives near the scene of the accident, heard Maia and immediately jumped into action to save the child. Maia says she is so grateful.
Godbolt says this is the third time since he has lived in the area that a car has skidded into the embankment.
