More than 200 people are expected to take part in the charity motorcycle ride "Thunder on the Sound" this weekend for a special cause.
Officials say the money raised will pay for a memorial to Stamford native Brian Bill, who was killed in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan one year ago.
Bill and his fellow Navy SEALs will be honored with a bronze statue.
Registration for Thunder on the Sound will begin at 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning at the Exit 35 Commuter Parking Lot off the Merritt Parkway.
