A motorcycle group will pay tribute to a U.S. airman from Bridgeport who was one of three men killed in a car crash in 2018.
Lawrence Manlapit, 26, was killed in the summer of 2018 in a seven-car crash on Interstate 84 in Idaho.
His parents, Tom and Dorine Norko, are celebrating their son's legacy today with two milestones this week.
The first milestone is in recognition of his birthday. They say Manlapit would have turned 30 years old last week.
They are also getting ready for a motorcycle group called Tribute to Fallen Soldiers, whose members will be traveling to Bridgeport Monday as they journey across the nation remembering American heroes in uniform, including the president's late son, Beau Biden.
