It's lights, camera, action in one Stamford neighborhood as a movie is being filmed.

The day started early for the truck crew on "Old Dogs," a comedy starring Robin Williams, John Travolta and featuring Bernie Mac.

The film shoot is located on Leona Drive. While film production can be exciting for area residents, it can also be disruptive. Old Dogs Productions Inc. delivered a letter to area residents telling them they'd be working Friday. The letter read, "We understand that filming can be somewhat disruptive, and we appreciate your cooperation. As guests in your neighborhood, we will make every effort to be respectful of the daily routine of the community."
