MTA puts bans in place that could affect Monday morning commute

MTA crews are preparing customers for high winds and heavy rain as rough weather conditions hit local communities.

MTA crews are preparing customers for high winds and heavy rain as rough weather conditions hit local communities.
Due to the current forecast, MTA Bridges and Tunnels are putting a ban on empty tractor-trailers and tandem trucks until at least Monday morning at 6 a.m.
Pedestrian walkways at the Cross Bay Bridge and Marine Parkway Bridge will also be closed during this time.
Walkways on the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge and the Henry Hudson Bridge will remain open, but residents are reminded to exercise caution.
