The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado touched down in Kent Thursday.
The tornado has been identified as an EF-0. Officials say the tornado touched down at around 3:31 p.m.
The tornado had a maximum wind speed between 80 and 85 mph, and had an estimated path width of 75 yards.
It's estimated the tornado moved half a mile.
Another tornado touched down in Connecticut during the storms, which went through Bethany, Hamden and North Haven.
