A local animal rights firm is offering a reward for anyone with information on the person who dumped a dog on a roadway on Dec. 16.
The Desmond's Army Animal Law Advocates says a $3,000 reward will be given to who can lead police to the suspect.
Officials say they responded to a report of a dumped dog in the Naugatuck Industrial Park on Saturday, Dec.16.
Officials say the abandoned dog was discovered covered in feces near a plastic crate in the roadway.
Officials say the dog was likely confined for a prolonged period.
