Two house fires in Bridgeport displaced nearly 20 people, officials say.
The first fire broke out at 873 Kossuth St. around 12 a.m. and displaced six people.
At least once person was transported to the hospital, officials say.
The deputy chief says the fire started near the porch.
A two-alarm fire also broke out at 51 Savoy St. around 1:30 a.m. and displaced 13 people.
No one was injured in the fire and officials say the home is over 100-years-old.
Officials say the American Red Cross is helping to assist those who are displaced.
