The New Canaan Police Department is expanding its duties this holiday season in the spirit of giving.
The police department hosted a supplies drive to benefit the New Canaan Food Pantry Saturday.
Officers rotated throughout the day volunteering.
The donations filled up nearly two police cruisers with food for those in need.
