A pastor from New Haven has been sentenced to six years in prison for sexually assaulting a minor.

Walter Williams, 59, was a pastor at Walk of Faith Church of Christ where the victim attended and was a member of the choir.

The girl's mother found messages on her daughter's phone from Williams

The victim described six encounters in detail that happened between 2015 and 2016, including at the church.

The mother also found a graphic message from Williams to her daughter on Facebook.
