A new Indian vegetarian restaurant is bringing worldwide flavors to Stamford.
Saravanaa Bhavan recently opened on Washington Boulevard near downtown.
The chain has dozens of locations across the globe, including some in New York City and New Jersey.
The owners said they hope the fresh food and great atmosphere makes people in Stamford feel right at home.
“It’s a satisfying feeling when the people say that the food is really authentic, and the flavors are so great,” said Praveen Saravanan a worker at Saravanaa Bhavan.
The location has parking right across and it’s close to the heart of downtown Stamford.
“If you want to try something authentic and fresh, come give us a try,” said Saravanan.
The chain has operated for over 40 years and continues to grow.
