A new Public Service Announcement called "Just Joking" was launched to draw awareness to stopping gun violence following the tragic events at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

The PSA features nine comedians including Wanda Sykes. Thanks to donated advertising space it will air on TV and radio stations all across the country and on streaming services.

Sandy Hook Promise, a nonprofit created after the shootings to teach students and teachers about the warning signs of school gun violence, created the idea for the PSA.

The organization says if the PSA makes people feel uncomfortable then it has done its job.
