Afro-Puerto Rican actor and filmmaker Ronald Hinton's new pilot "Natives" is showcasing what he says our television screens are missing.
The pilot is a queer and minority-led cast. Inspired by Hinton's New York experience, the series follows a group of unapologetic New Yorkers who think they have it all figured out.
However, to make this pilot happen, the cast must raise $25,000.
