A coalition of gun safety groups, including the Newtown Action Alliance announced their endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris for president on Tuesday.

A list of the groups includes Brady and Team ENOUGH, Community Justice Action Fund, Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund and its grassroots networks Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action, GIFFORDS.

“The historic progress the gun violence prevention movement made since the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting will be erased if Trump wins and brings the NRA back into the White House. We must elect Kamala Harris as our next president to protect our children and loved ones,” said Po Murray, chairwoman of Newtown Action Alliance.

Murray said Harris will continue to emphasize the gun violence public health crisis by passing “common sense lifesaving gun policies.”
