Fairfield officials are giving Metro-North riders a heads up about a major parking lot project coming up next month.

Repaving of the main parking lot of the Fairfield Center train station will begin July 8. Officials say the work will be done in two phases and is scheduled to be complete by July 19.

While the work is going on, daily Parking will be available at the Fairfield Center Train Station Lot as well as at the Mill Plain Lot and other locations during the repaving project.
