Nonprofit buys police dog bullet-proof vest

One of Milford's finest and furriest is safer thanks to some help from a nonprofit organization. Police say the group "Vested Interest" provided Zeus with a bullet and stab-proof vest which costs $950.

One of Milford's finest and furriest is safer thanks to some help from a nonprofit organization.
Police say the group "Vested Interest" provided Zeus with a bullet and stab-proof vest which costs $950.
Zeus and his handler, Officer Emily Covelli, finished their training in December.
Zeus has been patrolling Milford ever since.
