Connecticut will continue to see a wintry mix and strong winds overnight and into Thursday's commute.

The storm first brought snowfall earlier in the afternoon but much of the area is seeing heavy rain and strong winds. The wintry mix led to a slowdown of traffic on roads across the state.

Some residents wanted more snow so they could go skiing. Others were worried about losing power after being out for so long due to Hurricane Sandy
