Many local business are coming together to help people in need following Hurricane Harvey.
Forever Sweet Bakery in Norwalk donated all of their sales Tuesday and last Tuesday to relief efforts in Houston.
The bakery placed buckets for financial donations in its store and is also taking clothing donations to be delivered down to Texas.
The bakery's owner has been teaming up with local businesses and is urging everyone to give back.
"A little help from my friends, they're all coming together, local businesses, around the area, right here in Norwalk, New Canaan, Stamford, I even have a car wash in South Florida that raised $5,000 the last week and wrote a check to the Red Cross so I need your help, Houston needs your help, you want to help, this is how you're going to help," says Sky Mercede.
Russell Speeder's Car Wash in Norwalk donated $2 per car wash and $6 per ultimate car wash all day yesterday to help relief efforts as well.
