The City of Norwalk is cracking down on dog enforcement in parks due to complaints related to unleashed dogs and dog waste.
Signs that say "no dogs" were hung up this past month in Oyster Shell Park. Officials say the Parks and Public Property department received complaints that also included approaching children.
The city says that technically, dogs were never allowed at Oyster Shell Park to begin with, but the park won't bother people if they're responsible and considerate.
Some dog owners tell News 12 they're frustrated with the new signage as they walk their dogs in the park frequently.
