School may be out but that hasn't stopped the city of Norwalk from going one step further to help give students access to healthy meals.
The summer meal program in Norwalk offers breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday up until the first or second week of August, depending on the location.
The meals are free for all students 18 and under and must be eaten on site.
Norwalk school officials say students don't have to pick up the meals at the school they attend. They can go to any location that is most convenient.
Calf Pasture Beach and several schools are taking part in the initiative.
