A Norwalk man is facing charges after he admitted to pressuring his son into stealing a BB gun last month.
Harold Gogarty told police he persuaded his son to take a BB gun out of its box and hide it under his clothing at the Wal-Mart on Connecticut Avenue.
Police say Gogarty told them he had been drinking prior to the incident.
The 45-year-old dad also told them he was ashamed of what he had done.
