A Norwalk man was arrested following a six-hour standoff with police, law enforcement officials say.
Robert Lemay, 40, was taken into custody around 10 p.m. Sunday.
Police were called to Lemay's residence on Magnolia Avenue Sunday around 3 p.m. where there were reports of him being intoxicated and making several threats against others and himself with a shotgun.
Police say Lemay has several guns registered to him.
Several streets in the area were shut down as tactical and hostage negotiation teams were called in.
Lemay eventually surrendered without incident.
He was charged with second-degree threatening and two counts of breach of peace.
