Today is Election Day in Connecticut, and polls are open until 8 p.m.
News 12's Angelica Toruno is stationed outside the Tracey Magnet School polling place in Norwalk and is previewing some of the biggest races.
In Norwalk, the focus is on the mayoral race between incumbent Mayor Harry Rilling and Republican Vincent Scicchitano.
Additionally, there is a question on the ballot concerning a charter revision. Voters will need to cast their vote in favor or against it.
The proposed changes include maintaining a two-year mayoral and council term, expanding police and fire commissions from two to four members, establishing procedures to enhance public participation in the budget process, and mandating a charter review every five years, with an initial review scheduled in two years.
The Girl Scouts set up shop at the steps of Tracey Magnet School, ready to take on hungry voters on their way in or out.
