Elected officials in Norwalk celebrated the groundbreaking of the Lockwood Lane and Heather Lane Storm Drainage Improvement Project on Tuesday.

The project involves separating existing storm systems from sanitary systems, a crucial upgrade that will improve the city's ability to manage stormwater runoff.

The project was made possible thanks to a $5 million state grant.
