Norwalk officials say power outages have been reported in large sections of the city due to a fire at an Eversource substation.
They say that around 13,000 people were originally without power.
Officials say the fire of the substation has been contained, but more circuits will have to be turned off across the city to assess the damage. This will cause more outages.
They say Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling is communicating with Eversource on the problem.
This recent outage comes as Eversource sat in the hot seat during a hearing with lawmakers on its response to Tropical Storm Isaias.
