Norwalk police say two people died from gunshot wounds
Sunday after a situation that triggered a warning for some residents to shelter
in place.
The incident occurred on Chatham Drive in the town. Norwalk
police posted a warning for nearby residents about an “active and dangerous”
situation involving an armed suspect.
It’s not yet clear if that armed suspect died in the
incident or if they were apprehended. The identification of the
deceased is being withheld until family members are contacted.
Police are not expected to divulge further details until
Monday morning.
