The Norwalk Police Activities League had its 3rd annual golf tournament fundraiser on Monday.

Participants gathered on the Oak Hills Golf Course for an 18-hole round, contests and raffles to support the police department.

Norwalk Police Department James Walsh said the fundraiser also makes a difference in the rest of the community.

"We do support a lot of recreational leagues and we do see the worth of supporting that. They see the buy-in in the association between police officers and Norwalk youth," Walsh said.

There was also a big lunch and an awards banquet after the tournament.
