As the temperatures get colder, Norwalk Police Department released a list of helpful safety tips for the fall season.
These tips include:
1) Wet on the road can be as slick as ice; observe speed limits and avoid braking on leaf patches.
2) Early morning brings frost, use caution driving over bridges before dawn and after dusk.
3) Deer are more active during the autumn, especially during dawn and dusk: keep an eye out for them.
4) As daylight hours shorten, be especially cautious for pedestrians and cyclists.
5) Check tire conditions and pressure and change out windshield wipers.
