Police in Norwalk are investigating acts of vandalism after tires on 15 cars were slashed over the weekend.
Police say the incidents occurred early Sunday on the Center Avenue extension. They say 23 tires on 15 different vehicles were slashed. A week before the incident, a few cars parked on Morgan Street were also targeted, say police. Lt. Paul Resnick is asking vehicle owners to be vigilant. Resnick says the department will have extra patrols out in the neighborhood on the lookout for any vandalism.
Police say they have no description of a suspect or suspects. They are asking the public to contact the Norwalk Police Department at 203-854-3000 with any information on the vandalism.
